Letters To The Editor can be sent to Tandra Vale Oceinview@tassie.net.au and they may be on any topic relevant to the Tamar/Esk region.
Letters should ideally be no longer than about 300 words but if you have more to say submit your 'letter' as an article. Generally your letters will be published as submitted, however:
- Very long letters might be introduced in the 'letters section' and given the required space elsewhere;
- Rather than edit out legally contentious material, such material will be redacted albeit that this might well interupt the flow of the text etc.;
- Letters published elsewhere will be republished without the edits of other editors;
- Letters will not be published under a pen name unless the author provides their real name, email address and street address when submitting their letter. In this case ONLY the pen name will be used as the 'author's name'. ... Given the alternatives open to contributors this seems reasonable.
- Letters will be published as received in approximate chronological order.
