WELCOME

Welcome to TasNetwork43. The notion of a publication under the banner of TAMARweekly has developed into an alternative ‘occasional publication’ with each edition focused upon an aspect of TAMAR/ESK Placedness.

The initiative comes from a network of concerned citizens – writers, journalists, artists, academics, business people, etc. – involved in various aspects of the TAMAR/ESK ‘region’s’ cultural realities and the social networking around all that.

It is anticipated that there will be a ‘pilot publication hardcopy publication’ out before the local government elections 2018 focused on issues relative to local governance in Tasmania. It is also anticipated that the ‘pilot’ will be an ‘anthology of opinions’

Sponsors for essays of 800 to 1,500 words are now being sought along with expressions interest to advertise in this pilot issue. It is early days and there are developments evolving daily.

If you like what you see here on the evolving digital version and wish to participate you may submit either an essay or ‘LETTER TO THE EDITOR’

You may also wish to sponsor an essay and for the pilot issue we are asking sponsors to consider:

Donating either $100, $200, $500 or $1,000 for which the donor will be entitled to an advertisement/s commensurate with their donation. Donors are able to;
Nominate a subject they would wish to sponsor as an essay or opinion piece;
 Nominate an organisation or a writer, artist, photographer, essayist, living in the Tamar Esk region that they would wish to see promoted; and/or
 Advertise your services, your candidacy for the upcoming local government elections, organisation’ membership opportunities, etc.

If you wish to keep in contact you may follow the publication by following by email – see the follow-by-email area below.

Please feel free to get in touch if you wish to take up anything that is now on offer or is added to the offerings in the weeks ahead.

We are also open to suggestions if you see something that we may have overlooked.
